Already in my short life I’ve had to say too many goodbyes. And you know what I’ve discovered? The hardest part isn’t the separation. The hardest part is knowing that behind it all, you will never be the same. Everything will change, that relationship will never be how it was when you said goodbye. And that’s not always a good thing.
